On June 7, the Uni created an open-air reading room on Corona Plaza, a location we’ve visited many times before. In 2014, we’ll continue our longstanding partnership with Queens Museum as they bring community-oriented programs to this emerging public space. Our work on this plaza is made possible in part by funds granted by the Charles H. Revson Foundation through the Neighborhood Plaza Partnership and Penguin Random House.

This girl volunteered on the spot to read to other kids in her neighborhood. This is what the Uni does best—provide a place for the community to rally around books and learning.
