The Uni partnered for a fourth time with Phillip Kellogg and the Fulton Area Business Alliance (FAB) to help nurture newly pedestrianized plazas in Brooklyn. By creating an open-air reading room at Putnam Triangle in Clinton Hill, we’re sending a message that these new public spaces can be safe, inviting, and even inspiring places for residents to gather. Thanks to FAB Alliance, Andrew Collins our volunteer science educator, some terrific volunteers from Public Allies NY, and, of course, the residents of Clinton Hill, who joined us on the plaza, despite some ominous looking clouds!

Volunteers from Public Allies NY had some great ideas for organizing the books, and they dove right in.
