A Uni reading room lands in California

San Mateo County LibraryIn March 2014, The Uni Project fabricated, shipped, and installed a portable reading room for the San Mateo County Library. The inaugural deployment for this open-air reading room will be a county fair, and we’ll keep you posted where this adventurous library goes next. Thank you to all the terrific staff at San Mateo for giving us the chance to work together. You inspire us. Read on California.

Thanks for your interest! Click on the menu item “Get a Uni” above to learn more. We deploy our reading room in NYC, and we also make reading room kits for libraries and other organizations in other cities.

The Uni Project is the operating name (DBA) of Street Lab, a 501c3 nonprofit.
