bpl04The Boston Public Library is a key partner in helping us make a place to gather around books on Boston’s Rose F. Kennedy Greenway this summer. The library contributed a great selection of children’s picture books, young adult books, and books for teens to read on-site at the new Boston Uni. Flyers about library programs can be found in a notebook with the collection on the Uni’s shelves, and BPL librarians will join Uni volunteers in staffing the Uni on the Greenway. BPL librarians will also sign-up people for library cards.

Boston BPLBooks have been selected by children’s librarians with the help of Youth Outreach Librarian, Amanda Bressler, who also can be found staffing the BPL’s other fabulous mobile book effort, the Bibliocycle.

We love the BPL and are grateful to President Amy Ryan for her open mind and can-do spirit, her stewardship of the library, and her dedication to the people of Boston.
