ICA Boston

ICA Director of Education, Monica Garza.

Coinciding with the launch of a Uni portable reading room for Boston on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway, Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art put together a wonderful collection of 17 books that will remain on the Uni’s shelves for all of Boston to enjoy. Among the books is a retrospective catalogue on the work of Shepard Fairey, an influential street artist given his first museum survey at the ICA in 2009. Also included is a book on Os Gemeos, the twin Brazilian artists whose work was featured at the ICA in 2012 and is remembered for the colorful large-scale mural commissioned by the ICA and Greenway Conservancy officials at Dewey Square.

Thanks to ICA Director of Education, Monica Garza, for putting this together for us and also recommending her favorite from the collection! Explore the books on LibraryThing.
