Sesame Street in the Uni

sesame_200Long before the Uni portable reading room, New York City streets provided a rich environment for learning. New Yorkers of all ages, colors, fur, and feathers sounded out words and read together on stoops. It happened on television, but it forever changed people’s vision of the city and ideas about where learning can happen. Sesame Street.

We’re honored to receive a donation of books from the Publishing Group at Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind Sesame Street, which will form a new mini-collection that we’ll share on the street. New York City kids are going to love this.
