nycparks copyThe Uni has been at Playground 103 in East Harlem to reach kids and families living nearby at NYCHA East River Houses. Our work here is in partnership with NYC Parks in support of the Community Parks Initiative, and tomorrow is our final deployment before the park gets a major renovation. I’ve enjoyed getting to know everyone at 103, and we’re grateful to Kristy Di Cario of NYC Parks for working with us. Thanks also to Leaves of Grass Fund for supporting our deployments in parks across the city. We’ll be back!

As summer comes to a close, I’m thinking about the impact that Egypt and all Uni Project staff have made on New York City.
